Do you ever think to yourself:
“I am grateful to God and I do pray, but I don’t feel comfortable with the idea of worship in public.”I am happy to hear that you pray to God and you are already on the right track to worship.
I am not sure what you have heard about worship but there are so many ways to express your thanks to God.  Why do we worship God? Because He is the one and only powerful and mighty God.  He loves you more than you can possibly know and He has heard every word of your prayers.
The truth is, when we worship God we are investing in our relationship with Him, demonstrating to Him that we want a strong relationship with Him.  When we worship God, we celebrate Him and His influence in our life.  We show Him our love.  We show Him how important He is to us and our commitment to walking with Him.  For these reasons, it is so important to find a way that is comfortable to you to worship God.

“I try to surrender to God but there are certain things I think I should still handle on my own”
I get it. Before you knew about God, you have been taught to understand that you have to look out for your own best interest because no one else will. I understand you have been doing life this way all along just fine, so there is no need to make a change.
The truth is that God and only God knows every single facet of you. He knows your gifts and talents, your strengths and weaknesses.  In fact, He knows every single thing in your life.  With this infinite wisdom, doesn’t it make sense to present your hopes and dreams and plans before God?  Only He knows which of your plans are aligned with His perfect plans for you.  Trust that God knows the precise nature of your prayers—even the things you can’t fully comprehend. 
Challenge: In your heart, acknowledge that God understands the depths of your requests. Then, surrender your timing to Him. 
Trust in God: Are you willing to completely trust in His wisdom and timing? Speak from your heart, expressing your unwavering faith. 
Continue to Pray: Keep seeking His guidance, knowing that He orchestrates moments in ways we can’t fathom. Expect His influence at the perfect time and place.

Do you ever think to yourself:
“I wish God would give me a sign”
I get it.  If you are watching this and are feeling frustrated that you dont know what to do about a prayer, please stay encouraged.
The truth is that if you have prayed, God has heard your prayer. We can pray to God knowing that His response will be one of Yes, No, or do nothing. When we fully place our trust in God we must also trust in His timing.  I have personally experienced many situation where the response I wanted did not come until a time that I was ready to act on a response.  Be patient, remain prayerful and know that God’s answer to your prayer will come at a time and manner that He knows is best.
