“Embrace Authenticity” This challenge is for those of you who are, as they say, faking it till you make it. So here is the deal: I know that is a very common phrase, and all of us have done it at some point in our lives. But the truth is, as difficult as it may seem to believe, it simply is not necessary when we realize who we are in God. You see, from God's eyes, we are perfect. There is no need to come up with shortcuts on how we can show up authentically in the world. I know all there is to know about peer pressure and society's labels upon us, but my challenge for you today is this: 1. If you are feeling like you need to fake it until you can make it, ask God to show you who you really are. 2. Ask God to equip you with whatever you need to be successful as your authentic self. 3. Ask Him to lay the groundwork for you to be in a community where you can grow and thrive 100% as you are.

“Embrace Authenticity” I understand. Believe it or not I used to be a real loner in school and I had to put on a facade for the cool kids to even speak to me. These types of patterns can last well into adulthood in our careers, families and social circles. The truth is that God sees you as perfect in His eyes. Your worth is not based on who accepts you. Your worth is based on who you are in Him. All of us are unique and God says we should show up exactly as we are in the world.
